This policy explains which personal data Sitevo processes, why, and for how long.

Data we process

Account data: name, e-mail address, password hash, language, two-factor settings. Site data: the public pages of the sites you add and your product catalog. Dialog data: the messages of your site's visitors and the assistant's answers; a visitor is identified only by a pseudonymous key, not by name, unless the visitor writes it. Billing data: plan, payments and invoices (card data stays with the payment provider). Technical data: server logs with limited retention.

Why

To provide the service you signed up for (contract), to secure it (legitimate interest), and to meet legal obligations such as bookkeeping.

Service providers

AI answers are generated with Google's Gemini API; OpenAI is used as a fallback model. Payments are processed by Stripe. E-mails are sent through our mail server. Hosting: —. Each provider receives only what it needs for its task.

How long

Dialogs stay until the site owner deletes them or the site is deleted. One-time links expire within a day, informational server logs after 30 days, error logs after 180 days. Billing records are kept as long as the law requires. Phone numbers left for a call-back or a booking are removed from dialogs and bookings 90 days after the request was closed or the appointment ended.

You may request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your data, restrict or object to processing, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Write to the contact address below.

Cookies and storage

The dashboard uses a session cookie and a security token. The widget keeps the current dialog in the visitor's browser for two hours so it can continue across pages; no advertising cookies are set.
